1- Placing the \u05e1\u05db\u05da on material that is \u05de\u05e7\u05d1\u05dc \u05d8\u05d5\u05de\u05d0\u05d4, such as metal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Basically, it boils down to this: the issue is what people will think and perhaps err.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So placing the schach on 2x4s aluminum poles that crisscross the Sukkah \u2026\u2026depends if an observer will\/may conclude that the entire Sukkah can be covered with these aluminum poles.\u00a0 Ditto for placing it on an aluminum frame.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2- Discussed the outlier opinion that even the \u2018support of the support\u2019 \u05de\u05e2\u05de\u05d9\u05d3 \u05d4\u05de\u05e2\u05de\u05d9\u05d3, cannot be of material that is \u05de\u05e7\u05d1\u05dc \u05d8\u05d5\u05de\u05d0\u05d4. Such as placing \u05e1\u05db\u05da atop wooden 2×2, which in itself is fine to support the \u05e1\u05db\u05da, on top of a metal support.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This translates into prohibiting even a nail to support the walls (if they cannot stand on their own) since that supports the \u05e1\u05db\u05da!<\/span><\/p>\n

The consensus is that this opinion is not accepted.<\/p>\n
