Brief points.<\/p>\n

1 – We mentioned last week the \u05e7\u05d3\u05d5\u05e9\u05d4 of \u05dc\u05e9\u05d5\u05df \u05d4\u05e7\u05d5\u05d3\u05e9 and the interesting idea from the \u05d7\u05ea\u05dd \u05e1\u05d5\u05e4\u05e8.<\/p>\n

Why is it, he asks, that within a short period of 70 years in \u05d2\u05dc\u05d5\u05ea \u05d1\u05d1\u05dc , half of \u05db\u05dc\u05dc \u05d9\u05e9\u05e8\u05d0\u05dc forgot to speak \u05dc\u05e9\u05d5\u05df \u05d4\u05e7\u05d5\u05d3\u05e9 that when they returned to \u05d0\u05e8\u05e5 \u05d9\u05e9\u05e8\u05d0\u05dc they needed to relearn it?<\/p>\n

His answer is that \u05e7\u05d3\u05d5\u05e9\u05d4 of \u05dc\u05e9\u05d5\u05df \u05d4\u05e7\u05d5\u05d3\u05e9 is only retained by those who are at a level of personal \u05e7\u05d3\u05d5\u05e9\u05d4.<\/p>\n

He continues that when \u05d9\u05d5\u05e1\u05e3 \u05d4\u05e6\u05d3\u05d9\u05e7 needed to prove to the \u05e9\u05d1\u05d8\u05d9\u05dd that he is their brother he says \u2018\u2019it\u2019s me speaking \u05dc\u05e9\u05d5\u05df \u05d4\u05e7\u05d5\u05d3\u05e9\u2019 – which is proof that he still kept his \u05e7\u05d3\u05d5\u05e9\u05d4.<\/p>\n

Tosfos take issue with this (on our Daf and in \u05de\u05d2\u05d9\u05dc\u05d4 \u05d9\u05d6, \u05d1) since \u05e7\u05e8\u05d9\u05d0\u05ea \u05d4\u05ea\u05d5\u05e8\u05d4 was established by \u05de\u05e9\u05d4 \u05e8\u05d1\u05d9\u05e0\u05d5 or \u05e2\u05d6\u05e8\u05d0 \u05d4\u05e1\u05d5\u05e4\u05e8. (see \u05de\u05d2\u05df \u05d0\u05d1\u05e8\u05d4\u05dd below).<\/p>\n

They suggest \u05e4\u05e8\u05e9\u05ea \u05d6\u05db\u05d5\u05e8.<\/p>\n
